Projection

Question for other dogbloggers out there: Have you ever been tempted to write a post in your human's voice? I mean, we hear them enough (well, in my case, I heard her enough until I went deaf) to know what they have to say, right? And yet, despite all the phone conversations I've listened to, the dinner parties I've sat through... I wonder if I could get it right? Can a dog ever really know what it's like to think and write as a cat, or a bear, or a human? Or would I just be--at best, projecting my canine ideas onto her, at worst using her as a ventriloquist's dummy, a gimmick, while still voicing my own thoughts?
